Í langan tíma naut ég þess að leggjast á sófann á sunnudagsmorgnum og hlusta á Landið sem rís á Rás 1. Þar var fjölbreytileiki í efnisval, áhugaverð sjónarmið, upplýsingar, vangaveltur, innsýn í heim þekkingar og menntunar og hversu miklum mannauð við íslendingar búum yfir. Allt þetta gaf mér von. Von sem ég hef ekki glatað enn. En svo gerðu þáttastjórnendur mikil mistök; þeir drógu fram leiðtoga stjórnmálaflokkanna! Ég er búinn að fá mig meira en fullsaddann af klækjum þeirra, getuleysi og eiginhagsmunastefnu. Nú sef ég fram eftir á sunnudagsmorgnum og læt mig dreyma næsta stig byltingarinnar.

Ok here this is for my english speaking friends: For a long time I enjoyed lying on the couch on Sunday morning and listen to the program" The country rises" on Channel 1. There was a diversity of materials, interesting views, information, reflection, insight into the world of knowledge and education and how much human capital, we the icelandic people, have. All this gave me hope. Hope that I have not lost yet. 
But executives involved did a great mistake: they dragged the leaders of the political parties into the program and I have had more than enough of their dihonesty, impotence and self-interest policies. Now I sleep late on Sunday morning and let me dream the next stage of the revolution.
